Deciphering new tax rules for pass-through businesses, identifying effective growth strategies, navigating the middle market M&A landscape and preparing for a possible economic slowdown are among the key challenges the private company CFO faces in 2019 and beyond. Private Company Priorities 2019, FEI’s inaugural professional development program dedicated exclusively to private companies, will provide insights to CFOs and Finance Directors who want to learn more about the challenges and opportunities on the horizon.
Held in Washington, DC, this half-day program will bring together subject matter experts, experienced private company finance executives and other stakeholders to share their expertise and perspectives. The program is free of charge to FEI Members and offers up 4 CPE credits.
Following the conference, FEI members are invited to attend the Private Company Washington Fly-in, which begins on the evening of Tuesday, April 2 with a casual networking reception at the Park Hyatt Hotel. On Wednesday, April 3, Fly-in participants will attend a series of meetings on Capitol Hill with members of the House and Senate and their staffs to discuss public policy issues of concern to the private company community. The day will begin with a breakfast briefing provided by PwC’s Washington National Tax team at 8:00 AM. Following the briefing, participants will travel to Capitol Hill for a series of meetings beginning at 9:30 AM and concluding at 3:00 PM.
