Christopher Wright, Managing Director at Protiviti, shares the results of the 2015 Finance Priorities Survey, a compilation of extensive feedback from CFOs and other finance executives, identifying key areas of focus for today’s leaders. This year, finance functions are striving to gain greater visibility toward the “cash” horizon, and placing more importance on strategic planning, risk management, executive dashboards, and profitability analysis. Improving related processes in a comprehensive manner and getting the right talent also rank high. Chris concludes with his thoughts on how companies should be thinking about the new revenue recognition rules in 2015.
