Last Chance to Have Your Voice Heard on Leasing, Electronic Payments

by FEI Daily Staff

Lease accounting and the move towards electronic payments are two of the most critical topics facing financial executives and there is a chance to express your opinions to critical stakeholders.

The Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF) - the non-profit research affiliate of Financial Executives International – is closing its comprehensive leasing and electronic payments survey on Friday, March 14.

The leasing survey which can be found here is the last chance to tell us what impact the proposed leasing standard will have on your job and your company.

The Financial Accounting Standards Board and the International Accounting Standards Board have begun their re-deliberation of the revised Exposure Draft.  You can use the survey to express what the potential impact of the Revised Proposed Accounting Standards Update on Leases (Topic 842) will have on your job and company if such exposure draft is implemented.  Results of the survey will be submitted to the FASB.  This survey has been developed in collaboration with Cresa and Ventana Research.

Has your company gone fully electronic with your payments processing?

FERF also wants to hear your thoughts around going fully electronic. In partnership with ADP, FERF has developed a very brief, 17-question survey that can be found here to better understand senior-level financial executives’ attitudes and beliefs around going fully electronic in their payments processes.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the process.
