Proposed PFAS restrictions
The European Union (EU) published a proposal on the European Chemicals Agency’s website restricting the use of more than 10,000 perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). A six-month open consultation period begins March 22.

EU ban on sale of Russian steel
In September 2023, finished or semifinished steel products originating from or exported from Russia will no longer be sold in the EU.
