For 90 years, FEI Cincinnati has served the senior financial executives of the Tri-State region. Quality has been the watchword since the inception of the chapter – exceptional members, meaningful relationships, and compelling content characterize the member experience.

To grow our community, we seek members and partners who are active, engaged, and enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge, experience, and expertise. The success of our community depends on members taking an active role in supporting, building and strengthening the chapter and helping other members reach their full potential.
How to engage?
Individual roles
FEI offers many ways for you to help the create a meaningful and purposeful experiences for members of the community within the confines of the regular meetings. Commit to improving the community informally by being:
- A Momentary Mentor – available to listen to member needs in the moment and offering advice and empathy.
- An Investor in the future of chapter by serving as an ambassador to help new members become acclimated during those first few months of attendance.
- A Talent Scout – on a mission at each session to meet someone new, discover their hidden talents, and connect them with others.
- A Story-teller – sharing your best FEI experience with the prospective members who attend each session.
- A Socializer – actively amplify the chapter’s social media outreach by welcoming, commenting, and connecting.
Group roles
Develop and exercise your leadership skills by serving on one of our standing committees:
- Membership – recruit, onboard and retain our most important asset – our members. Meets for 30 minutes monthly. Chair: Paul Gohr
- Scholarship – engage with the students and professors of six local universities as part of the annual scholarship initiative. Meets monthly January to April. Co-Chairs: Cindy Peebles & Sarah Burton-Price
- Partnership – cultivate relationships with partner organizations that provide value pipelines for ideas, resources, and thought leadership that benefit members. Meets monthly March through August. Chair: John Kaemmerer
- Content – ideate, curate, research, and develop compelling topics and identify compelling speakers aligned with member interests for chapter programs. Co-Chairs: Shelly Rice and Jon Tenbrink
Programs:
Invest in your professional future by attending our programs. Every event has the potential to deliver insights, information, and relationships that can change your career. Our dedicated volunteers strive to offer a unique mix of programming that permit you to learn, grow, and connect in the following ways:
- Five to six monthly member meetings featuring general networking and a keynote speaker.
- Five to six in person “Skill-Builders” sessions to provide members with practical training led by subject matter experts.
- Several partner-led webinars that offer supplemental content rich sessions.
- Two intentional networking events that facilitates to ensure that members connect with each other.
- One or two purely social events that set the stage for relationship development in a casual, fun setting.
- An annual scholarship event that provides members with an opportunity to network with top students and the academic community.
- Joint sessions with other quality organizations such as ACG & CFMA to expand your relationship base within the business community.
- Exclusive member-only special content sessions and networking opportunities with national thought leaders.
