FEI's Media Finance Section brings together financial executives across media and entertainment – television, radio, cable, print, digital, and out-of-home – for programming, content, and networking built around the business of media.

FEI launched the Section in October 2026 to carry forward more than 60 years of media-finance programming first developed by the Media Financial Management Association (MFM), whose roots trace back to 1961. Today, the Section pairs that specialized focus with the scale and resources of FEI.

What the Section offers

• Financial Leaders Forum – the Section's flagship annual conference, featuring education, networking, and CPE for financial leaders in media and entertainment.
• Executive Summit – an invitation-only gathering for financial leaders to exchange ideas with peers facing the same challenges.
• National Media Credit Conference – programming focused on credit and collections in media.
• Regional MeetUps – in-person networking events in major media markets throughout the year.
• Member Networks – peer communities on FEIconnect, organized around shared roles and interests.

Media Finance Section Members also have access to everything FEI membership offers, including peer networking, conferences, research, and regulatory and policy analysis. Members can also join a local FEI Chapter to connect with financial leaders in their area across all industries.
